Here I am now, in the big city once again.  Honestly, it is a bit strange, being back here, but somehow right. I'll be headed out this weekend to aide and abet some friends of mine who are starting up a new publishing company http://seraphemera.org  We'll be making the rounds, talking to the people at the Funky Monkey, a local shop which supports local artists and artisans, and then setting up a booth for Seraphemera Books at Numbers, a local club.  So... with any luck, things will go well with that. I've uploaded another painting here.  Hope you all enjoy :)

Headed back to the big city tomorrow.   This should be interesting. I will be sans computer to work on for a while, but hopefully soon this will be remedied. Today, my roommate and I went to lunch.  I was walking to the cash register to pay, twenty dollar bill in hand, and was digging through my wallet for some ones.  I got up to the register, and realized that I had dropped the twenty somewhere along the way.  Suddenly, an old man walks up to me, grinning from ear to ear, and says, "Can I get a pretty hug in exchange for the money you dropped?"  I was, to put it mildly, rather taken aback (just ask my roommate).  He reached out and hugged

Back, and hopefully to become active on here soon.  I'm taking a new turn artistically, seeing what I can do in the digital painting world, via Gimp.  Expect my first experiment soon-- a portrait of the illustrious Johnny Depp :)  I was shuffling through some magazines looking for some photo reference, and stumbled across that Newsweek cover from a few months back... just had to utilize it. Till later... I'm back to work!
